I’m not very techy, but updf was easy right away. I figured out editing and saving PDFs fast. The layout is clean too. Nothing felt confusing like some other PDF apps I’ve tried.

I’ve been using UPDF for a while now, i’m really happy with it. It runs smoothly on my laptop, opens PDFs quickly, and makes editing straightforward. I also haven’t had it freeze or crash on me like some other PDF apps I’ve tried. For my everyday work tasks, it’s been dependable, easy to use, and just does what I need without any hassle.

I wasn’t expecting much, but the OCR actually did a really good job keeping my text intact during the conversion. If you’re in the same boat and worried about your formatting or words getting messed up, I’d say it’s worth giving it a try...

I was trying to move my license over to a new laptop it turned into a whole thing. Support took forever to get back to me, and when they did, the replies felt like generic copy-paste answers that didn’t really address what I was asking. The app itself is fine, but the licensing process was annoying, and I didn’t love being forced to sit around and be patient for something that should’ve been simple.

I’ve been using UPDF for basic PDF tasks, it gets the job done. The interface is easy to figure out, and I was able to edit, convert, and handle the usual stuff without running into much hassle. What more do you really need for everyday PDF work, right?

That said, the price feels a little high for what you get. I expected some features to feel more polished or maybe be included in a smoother way. Is it a bad app? Not at all. But do I feel like it’s amazing value for the money? Not really.

Just a heads up for anyone planning to use the markup features a lot: the annotation tools feel a bit clunky right now. There’s noticeable lag when adding notes or drawing, which can get frustrating if you’re trying to move quickly. It still works, but I’d recommend testing that part first if markups are a big part of your workflow.
